WHO WE ARE



The Catalina Marine society is a nonprofit membership corporation founded in 2009 in Los Angeles to marshal volunteer resources to study the marine environment of Santa Catalina Island and the Southern California Bight.


Our Mission is to enlist and organize professional and volunteer resources to advance the scientific and ecological understanding conservation of the marine environment of Santa Catalina Island and the Southern California Bight.





OCEANBIGHTS MAGAZINE





The Society's Magazine, Ocean Bight is published every six months. It contains current happenings, research in the area, local updates and more.
