The CCD Thermograph Project has an array of marine thermographs that are subject to the full sweep of ocean currents. A chance observation indicated that temperature dynamics in a semi-enclosed area may be very difficult from those where the original thermographs are located.
Additional thermographs were deployed in both Cat Harbor and Avalon Harbor. Data from these instruments, especially when compared to nearby, open-water-retrieved data, will yield information on harbrorseiches (water resonances somewhat like the reverberations of drum head) and water flushing.
